Chris Dagher

With over a decade of experience in electronics design and five years in software, Chris brings a broad and deep technical skillset to QTex AI. He has a significant background in AI research, particularly in computer vision for 3D printing defect detection and robotics. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Computing at Boise State University. Chris has experience in product development at other startups, and we are lucky to have his leadership at QTex. When he's not working, Chris enjoys bikepacking, skiing, and visiting art galleries.

Oliver MacDonald

Oliver co-founded Qtex AI with Chris in July of 2024. He holds a BS in Robotics & Systems Engineering from Boise State University. Oliver excels in software and web development, marketing, SEO, and cybersecurity. He employs his expertise in operations and project management to keep QTex AI running smoothly. He thinks about complex challenges in tech as fun puzzles to solve. Outside of his work at QTex AI, Oliver is a prolific artist; his photography has been displayed internationally and he designs, constructs, and installs sculptural art, notably featured at the 2025 Basecamp Tech Fest in Boise.

Joel Camacho

Joel pursued a career in the tech sector and AI because he has always been drawn to tools that can unlock opportunity and scale impact, especially for underrepresented communities. He knows that tech and specifically AI have the power and potential to democratize access, accelerate ideas, and build a more equitable future. We are privileged to have Joel’s experience on our team, which includes 15 years in finance and tech and helping startups grow up to $100 million in investor capital. Joel holds a BA in Financial Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. Outside of work, Joel founded LatinX Pride in Boise. He loves creating spaces where people feel accepted and celebrated. Joel aims to help people thrive by being their authentic selves, in all aspects of life, including professional careers.

Caleb Pollock

Caleb joined QTex AI in June 2025 as a Software Engineer. He is eager to expand his expertise in the AI space. His primary focus and expertise is the efficient implementation of algorithms and data structures, a skill gained through extensive work developing mapping and path-finding algorithms for robotics projects. He holds an Associate’s degree in General Science from Boise State University, earned concurrently with his highschool diploma and is a current computer science student at Boise State University. Caleb is a valued member of our team and brings a meticulous approach to coding and system organization to QTex AI. When he’s not working, he’s still coding, or reading a good book, if he has time.

Katie McInally McCall

Katie joined QTex AI in June 2025 as a Marketing and Graphic Design Intern. She is not strictly pursuing a career in tech, but she was driven to join us at QTex to gain an understanding of AI’s potential across all sectors. Katie brings a robust background in nonprofit marketing and public administration including a Bachelor’s in Urban Studies and Community Development, a Master’s in Public Administration, and a Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Administration. Her skills include proactive planning, organization, and graphic design. Born and raised in rural Idaho, Katie is excited to contribute to Boise’s growing tech sector, and see the positive impact on Idaho’s economy. Outside of work, Katie enjoys experiencing Idaho’s natural beauty with her husband and dog, and is an artist of many mediums, from woodworking to fire dancing.
